Members of the All Progressives Congress in Epe demonstrated strong support for the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, during the Lagos State APC governorship primary election held across wards in Eredo LCDA.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, joined party faithful at Ward M1, AUD Primary School, Odo-Egiri, where he participated in the primary election exercise and cast his vote in support of Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat.
The exercise witnessed a massive turnout of party members, stakeholders, women, youths, and supporters who participated peacefully across various wards within Eredo LCDA.
Hon. Akinloye, who moved round several wards during the exercise, observed the level of participation, enthusiasm, discipline, and unity displayed by APC members throughout the primary election.
The chairman described the peaceful conduct and solidarity demonstrated during the exercise as a reflection of the political maturity and progressive spirit of residents and party faithful within Eredo LCDA.
Speaking after the primary election, Akinloye appreciated party leaders, stakeholders, women groups, youths, and members of the APC for contributing to the successful and orderly conduct of the exercise across the council area.
He further commended the unity and cooperation displayed by party members, noting that it reflects the continued strength and stability of the APC within Eredo LCDA and Epe Division at large.
The council chairman also expressed confidence in the leadership capacity, experience, and progressive vision of Dr. Hamzat, while reaffirming the commitment of APC members within the council area toward supporting the continued growth and development of Lagos State.
The APC governorship primary election concluded peacefully across Eredo LCDA amid growing political activities ahead of the 2027 Lagos governorship election.
