### Umahi Promises Massive Support for Tinubu in 2027
In a separate development, the Minister of Works, David Umahi, has declared that President Bola Tinubu will receive overwhelming support from Ebonyi State in the 2027 general election.
Umahi made the remarks while inspecting the ongoing construction of the Abaomoge-Akpoha-Afikpo Road in Ebonyi State.
The former Ebonyi State governor described the outcome of the 2023 presidential election in the South East, where Tinubu lost the region, as an accident of history that would not be repeated.
According to him, he will work closely with Governor Francis Nwifuru to deliver 95 per cent of the votes in Ebonyi State to the President in 2027.
Umahi praised Tinubu’s administration for the level of infrastructure projects being executed in Ebonyi and across the South East, arguing that no previous president had undertaken projects of similar magnitude in the region.
He challenged anyone who believes otherwise to point to comparable projects executed in the South East.

The minister added that efforts would be intensified to mobilise support for Tinubu and ensure that the people of Ebonyi reward the President for what he described as his commitment to the development of the state and the region.
