- His cybercrime case will continue on Wednesday
The Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered that activist and African Action Congress (AAC) presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore be remanded at the Kuje Correctional Centre after revoking the bail earlier granted to him.
Eko Hot Blog gathered that the court directed that Sowore remain in custody until Wednesday, when proceedings will continue in his trial over a two-count cybercrime charge filed by the Department of State Services (DSS). The charges stem from a social media post in which he described President Bola Tinubu as a “criminal.”

Sowore had chosen to represent himself after his legal team withdrew from the case.
At Monday’s sitting, Justice Umar also dismissed an application seeking his withdrawal from the case over allegations of bias, ruling that there was no basis to disqualify him from continuing with the trial.
