Preliminary findings revealed that the violence erupted on June 25 at about 6:30 p.m. during a naming ceremony when youths from Tudun Sullubawa Hamlet and Dosi Hamlet became involved in an argument that later escalated into a fight.
During the clash, Sani Abacha Alhaji Jabbi, 27, was allegedly attacked with cutlasses.
He was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Gombe, for treatment but later died from his injuries, according to the police.
Investigators visited the scene, documented evidence and launched an investigation that led to the arrest of Kano Alhaji Malam (18), Ali Alhaji Malam (17), and Shehu Alhaji Malam (16), all from Tudun Sullubawa Hamlet.

The command said the deceased had already been buried by his family in accordance with Islamic rites.
Police added that preliminary investigations have been completed and the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Bauchi for further investigation and prosecution.
Reacting to the incident, the Commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, condemned the killing and urged residents to resolve disputes peacefully rather than resort to violence during social gatherings.
