The Epe Local Government has officially commenced its Emerging Leaders Programme, a landmark youth development initiative designed to equip young people with the leadership skills, knowledge and confidence required to shape the future of Epe and beyond.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the programme, which began o Tuesday, July 14, 2026, is an initiative of the Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government, Hon. Princess Surah O. Animashaun, FHTI, as part of her administration’s commitment to youth empowerment, human capital development and sustainable community growth.
Participants were introduced to a comprehensive learning experience focused on leadership, innovation, civic responsibility, employability, problem-solving and personal development, with facilitators encouraging them to embrace excellence, integrity and service.
Speaking on the significance of the initiative, Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun reiterated her administration’s determination to invest in young people by creating opportunities that prepare them for leadership roles and meaningful contributions to society.
“Our youths are the future of Epe, and we are committed to providing them with the knowledge, skills and opportunities they need to become responsible leaders and agents of positive change. The Emerging Leaders Programme is an investment in the future of our community,” she said.
