The approved calendar outlines school resumption dates, mid-term breaks, examination periods and holidays, providing schools, teachers, parents and students with a clear guide for planning throughout the academic year.
Alli-Balogun said the harmonised calendar reflects the Lagos State Government’s commitment to promoting quality education through a well coordinated and organised academic system.
He urged all public and private schools in the state to strictly comply with the approved timetable to ensure uniformity and the smooth implementation of academic activities.

The commissioner also encouraged residents to access the full 2026/2027 academic calendar on the official website of the Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA) and other official Lagos State Government digital platforms.
