No fewer than 68 passengers escaped unhurt after an Enugu Airlines aircraft crash-landed at Benin Airport on Thursday.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the aircraft, with registration number 5N-ENR, was carrying 68 passengers, in addition to its crew members, when the incident occurred.

A source at the airport, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the aircraft was operating an Enugu–Benin–Lagos commercial flight when it overshot the runway and veered into nearby bushland.
According to the source, officials of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) immediately responded to the incident and safely evacuated all passengers from the aircraft.
“No casualty was recorded,” the source said.
The source, however, did not disclose the number of crew members on board at the time of the incident.
