The Federal Government’s decision to rename the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has added to the growing list of public infrastructure and institutions named in his honour since he assumed office in May 2023.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Minister of Works Dave Umahi announced the renaming on Thursday, saying the 750-kilometre coastal highway was named after the president because the project was first conceived during Tinubu’s tenure as Governor of Lagos State nearly three decades ago.
