The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has named Grace Oluwatobi Coker as its deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 Lagos State governorship election.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Coker will serve as the running mate to the party’s governorship candidate, Prince Laja Adeoye, as the APM intensifies preparations for the 2027 poll.

Reacting to her nomination on Saturday, Coker described her emergence as both an honour and a responsibility, expressing gratitude to God, the party leadership, members and Lagos residents for the confidence reposed in her.
She also thanked Adeoye for choosing her as his running mate, describing him as her leader, mentor and principal, while pledging to work closely with him to achieve the party’s vision for Lagos State.
According to her, the APM is presenting Lagosians with a fresh alternative built on purposeful leadership, accountability, inclusion and sustainable development.
Coker reaffirmed her commitment to supporting Adeoye’s governorship bid and mobilising support for the party ahead of the 2027 election.
She also appreciated the party’s leadership at the national, state, local government, ward and polling unit levels, as well as stakeholders, campaign team members, volunteers and supporters for their dedication and encouragement.
The deputy governorship candidate equally thanked her family, friends and political associates for standing by her throughout her political journey.
She extended special appreciation to the people of Ibeju Lekki Local Government Area, her home constituency, and residents across Lagos State for their continued trust and support.
Coker pledged to work with the party leadership and members to secure victory in the 2027 governorship election, while praying for wisdom and guidance as the campaign progresses.
