EKO HOT BLOG reports that his return comes as contract negotiations between the player and Real Madrid remain unresolved.
According to reports from Spain, this week could be crucial in determining whether the 26 year old commits his long term future to the Spanish club or considers a move elsewhere. Discussions over a contract extension have reportedly continued for more than a year without an agreement, leaving Vinicius with just one year remaining on his current deal.
The prolonged contract stalemate has intensified speculation over his future, with Premier League champions Arsenal reportedly monitoring the situation closely. The English club is said to be prepared to make a move if an opportunity arises.
Vinicius arrived at Real Madrid City on Monday alongside new signing Bernardo Silva, who recently joined the club on a free transfer after the expiration of his Manchester City contract. Brahim Diaz also reported for pre season as Mourinho began preparations for the upcoming campaign.
Real Madrid have strengthened their squad during the summer transfer window with the arrivals of Marc Cucurella, Denzel Dumfries, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate and Carlos Espi.
However, the club’s pursuit of RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, who is reportedly valued at more than £100 million, has stalled. Real Madrid are also said to retain interest in Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly close to completing the signing of Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United in a deal worth around £80 million.

The midfielder is expected to undergo a medical before finalising the transfer after missing Newcastle’s return to pre season training in Spain.
