Chelsea Beat AC Milan 3-0 In Pre Season Clash Win Indonesia Super Cup

Chelsea defeated AC Milan 3-0 in their fourth match of the pre season tour, with head coach Xabi Alonso’s side producing a dominant display at the GBK Stadium.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the match was played in front of 40,856 spectators, with Chelsea controlling much of the contest as they continued their preparations for the 2026/27 season.

Joao Pedro opened the scoring in first half stoppage time after meeting Moises Caicedo’s corner and glancing a header beyond Milan goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani.

The Brazilian forward doubled Chelsea’s advantage shortly after the restart.

Pedro Neto created the goal after shifting the ball onto his left foot before delivering a cross to the back post, where Joao Pedro escaped his marker and guided the ball into the net.

Caicedo then extended Chelsea’s lead in the 50th minute with an impressive outside of the boot volley.

The goal came from another corner, with Romeo Lavia playing the ball towards the edge of the penalty area before Caicedo fired his effort into the corner.

Milan made several changes at half time, while Alonso kept his starting XI intact as Chelsea continued to create chances after taking a three goal lead.

Cole Palmer forced another save from Torriani with an effort from 18 yards.

Nicolas Jackson, who was introduced alongside Geovany Quenda in the second half, also came close to scoring after making a strong run into the Milan penalty area before striking the post.

Chelsea started the match with Robert Sanchez in goal, while Josh Acheampong, Wesley Fofana, Jorrel Hato and Marco Palestra formed the defence.

Caicedo captained the side alongside Lavia in midfield, with Palmer, Joao Pedro, Neto and Danny Welbeck leading the attack.

The victory marked Chelsea’s first piece of silverware on their Indonesian pre season tour and provided another positive result as Alonso continued to prepare his squad for the new campaign.

Chelsea will return to action on Sunday when they travel to Malaysia to face Johor Darul Ta’zim.

The match is scheduled for 8pm local time and 1pm UK time.
