President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on his birthday, describing him as a distinguished academic, technocrat and committed party leader.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Yilwatda, who previously served as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, marked his birthday on Saturday, August 8.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu commended the APC chairman for his contributions to the growth of the ruling party and efforts to strengthen its organisational structures.
The President said Yilwatda’s experience and intellectual capacity had continued to support the APC’s efforts to provide effective political leadership.
Tinubu also praised the party chairman for promoting unity among members and supporting the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
“Professor Yilwatda is a passionate advocate for the underserved. I particularly commend his initiatives in advancing policies that drive sustainable development and social impact,” the President said.
Tinubu further commended Yilwatda’s dedication to the APC and his commitment to democratic values, describing his contributions to the party and the country as worthy of recognition.
“As you celebrate today, I commend your services to our great party and our nation. Your contributions to the growth of the All Progressives Congress and your commitment to democratic values are worthy of recognition and commendation,” he said.
The President also acknowledged Yilwatda’s discipline and steadfast commitment to the ideals of the APC as the ruling party continues to consolidate its political position across the country.
