The Tinubu-Hamzat Epe Division Solidarity Front (THEDSF) has celebrated young people across Epe Division, describing them as the heartbeat of the division and critical stakeholders in the development of Lagos State and Nigeria.
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a message to mark International Youth Day 2026, the Director General of THEDSF, GMO Giwa Moshood Olasupo, applauded the resilience, creativity, energy, dreams, and determination of youths across Epe Division.
Giwa noted that young people remain an important force in driving positive change, stressing that their ideas, talents, and voices must continue to be recognised and encouraged.
According to him, youths should not consider their age a limitation, but rather an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to society and take an active role in shaping the future.
He urged young people across Epe Division to remain focused, courageous, united, and committed to integrity, while encouraging them to pursue their aspirations despite the challenges they may encounter.
Giwa further emphasised the importance of youth participation in community development, leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, education, technology, and other areas capable of creating opportunities and improving lives.
He said, “Your voice matters. Your ideas are valid. Your future is bright. Do not let anyone tell you that your age is a limitation—let it be your greatest strength.”
The THEDSF Director General also encouraged youths to take advantage of opportunities available to them and remain active participants in the development of their communities rather than merely waiting for the future.
He urged them to remain committed to the progress of Epe Division and to take pride in their heritage, stressing that unity and collective action remain essential to achieving sustainable development.
Giwa also reiterated the group’s support for the development agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the political aspirations of the APC Lagos State governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, while encouraging young people to remain engaged in the democratic process.
He said, “The leaders of tomorrow are not waiting for tomorrow—they are building today.”
The THEDSF Director General called on youths across Epe Division to continue dreaming, striving, learning, innovating, and believing in their ability to make a positive difference.
He concluded by wishing all young people across Epe Division a Happy International Youth Day, assuring them of the group’s continued commitment to youth engagement, grassroots development, and a stronger Epe Division.
