Voting was disrupted in Ejigbo, Osun State, on Saturday after violence broke out at a polling unit during the ongoing governorship election.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that video footage from the scene showed voters, residents and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission fleeing the area as tension escalated.
INEC officials and residents were seen running in different directions and moving away from the polling area as they attempted to escape the situation.
Motorcycles and vehicles were also seen moving through the area as residents fled the scene.
The immediate cause of the violence was not clear as of the time of filing this report.
