The Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has announced that its monthly environmental sanitation exercise will take place on Saturday, August 29, 2026.

Eko Hot Blog reports that the exercise is targeted at residents, market men and women, transport operators, artisans and business owners across the council area.
The council urged residents to participate actively by cleaning their homes, compounds, business premises, markets, surroundings and drainage channels ahead of and during the exercise.
Residents were also advised to dispose of waste properly and avoid practices that could undermine environmental cleanliness.
“Indiscriminate dumping and waste burning are strictly prohibited,” the council stated.
The administration encouraged market operators, transport workers, artisans and other business owners to take responsibility for maintaining clean environments around their respective locations.
According to the council, collective participation is essential to sustaining a clean, healthy and safe environment across Eredo LCDA.
“Let’s join hands to keep Eredo clean, green, healthy and safe!” the council urged.
