Eko Hot Blog reports that the commissioning exercise underscores Senator Abiru’s continued investment in public education, with the projects designed to provide pupils and teachers with safer, more conducive and modern learning environments.
The intervention is part of a broader effort to strengthen foundational education and ensure that public schools are well-equipped to meet growing enrolment and academic needs.
Speaking ahead of the commissioning, Senator Abiru described education as a critical pillar of sustainable development. He noted that the projects were carefully selected based on pressing needs identified within the communities.
“Education remains the strongest tool for shaping the future of our society, and these classrooms represent our commitment to giving every child a fair chance to learn in a dignified environment,” he said.
Community leaders and school administrators across the benefiting LCDAs have also welcomed the intervention, describing it as timely and impactful.
According to one education stakeholder, the upgraded facilities will significantly improve teaching effectiveness and students’ overall learning experience.
