EKO HOT BLOG reports that the lawmaker representing Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Wale Raji, on Tuesday, donated utility vehicles to party Chairmen of the Epe Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The Chairmen who steers the affairs of the party across Epe LGA, Eredo LCDA and Ikosi/Ejinrin LCDA who spoke with EKO HOT BLOG during the official handing over ceremony of the vehicles at the Wale Raji Constituency office in Epe, disclosed that the gesture would be immensely beneficial to their mobility needs and the day-to-day execution of political activities of the party.

The Epe LGA Chairman, Comrade Hon Toyin Gbadamosi, who spoke on behalf of the other two recipients, Hon Mahmud Agbaraojo, (Eredo LCDA) and Hon Ajenifuja Wittu Bamidele (Ikosi/Ejinrin) after proper documentation of the vehicles was carried out, said:

”It is a good development for the party in Epe Federal Constituency, it is the first of its kind and it is a good feeling that we are the first set of chairmen to benefit from such a gesture. In the same vein, we want to extend our gratitude to Hon. Wale Raji for his thoughtfulness and genuine concerns towards our needs for the advancement of our dear party in Epe by giving us these vehicles.

”We pledge to use these vehicles for the benefit and promotion of the party and with this development, we have a strong belief that the APC candidates would emerge victorious in the forthcoming General Elections in Epe Local Government, come 2023,” he assured.

Speaking further, he urged other political office holders to emulate such a laudable gesture and rally around the LG/LCDA Chairmen to support the growth of the party, stressing that the burden of the party’s success at the grassroots lies on the several unrelenting roles they played before the emergence of any party flagbearer.

”Before the candidate emerges, automatically, somebody who has laboured for the success of the party even before asking at all, they should look back and assist us in so many ways. This opportunity we have today would go a long way to motivate and benefit us because most of us might not be returned,” he stated.

At the ceremony, the Chairman of the Wal Raji Think-Tank Committee, Otunba Nurudeen Yussuf on behalf of the Lawmaker handed over vital car documents and the keys to the vehicles to the Chairmen, stressing that it would enhance the ease of travel and productivity towards the forthcoming General Elections.

In the same vein, the Senior Legislative Aide to Hon Wale Raji, Mr Hassan Bashir, harped on the significance of the donation which he said was borne out of his resolve to listen to the yearnings of his constituents, thereby making considerable contributions towards the growth of the party and the entire constituency.

”The MHR has always been supportive of the party going by his considerate dispositions in positioning the party on the rightful pedestal it belongs. The donation of the salon cars to the three LGAs under Epe Federal Constituency is not out of place because the peculiarity of the office of the Chairmen of each of the LGA involves mobility across the state and even inter-state,” he said.

While he adjudged that the gesture would enhance party activities which he said is a catalyst to the desired dividends of democracy, he admonished the Chairmen to reciprocate the gesture from the Lawmaker by being good ambassadors and diligently directing the affairs of the party in their various LCDAs.
