This year’s AFRIMA theme, “Unstoppable Africa,” celebrates excellence in African music across more than 40 award categories, reflecting a wide range of genres and regional styles. The event aims to spotlight the continent’s vibrant musical talent and cultural diversity.
The jury consists of 13 respected professionals from various African countries and the diaspora. These include music executives, cultural experts, journalists, producers, and festival organizers, all bringing years of experience and a shared commitment to fairness. Hadja Kobele, representing the African Diaspora (North America), emphasized that the judging will be transparent and merit-based, focusing on originality, musical quality, cultural impact, and creativity.

The organizers have confirmed that no further entries will be accepted since the submission portal closed on August 8. This strict deadline ensures all participants have an equal chance in a level playing field.
