Garba said Ganduje is rested, fit, and ready for active politics.
Malam Muhammed Garba, Chief of Staff to former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje, has clarified why his principal was absent during President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent condolence visit to the family of the late Aminu Dantata in Kano State.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that speaking to Daily Trust, Garba dismissed rumours of a rift between Tinubu and Ganduje following the latter’s resignation as APC chairman. He explained that the former governor of Kano State had travelled to London for a personal engagement just days after stepping down.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that
“Ganduje left Nigeria for England five days after his resignation as APC chairman. One of the reasons he gave was his health, though it was nothing serious. He simply needed to rest after his service to the party’s successes and the nation’s development,” Garba said.
According to him, Ganduje was still in London when news of Dantata’s death broke, making it impossible for him to be present during Tinubu’s visit.
He noted that the president’s visit was communicated to Ganduje, but despite efforts to adjust his travel plans, logistical challenges made it impossible for him to return in time.

Garba also revealed that the former APC chairman was out of the country when Vice President Kashim Shettima visited Kano and was absent from the Kaduna summit for the same reason.
On Ganduje’s political future, Garba confirmed that the former governor is ready to return to active politics after having sufficient rest. “I was with him in London a few days ago, and I can assure you he is fit and prepared to resume political activities. All things being equal, we expect him back in the country in a few days,” he said.
