The Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, has commended the Epe Division Professional Women Association (EPWA) for its remarkable contributions to community development and humanitarian service across Epe Division.

Eko Hot Blog reports that speaking at the EPWA Awards and Recognition for Excellence Ceremony held at Eredo LCDA Hall, the royal father said he was deeply impressed by the extensive list of achievements and interventions carried out by the association over the years.
According to the monarch, listening to the various projects and programmes executed by EPWA gave him a clearer understanding of the enormous impact the organization has made in the lives of women, students, youths, widows, and vulnerable members of society.
“I have listened carefully to the numerous interventions and developmental programmes carried out by EPWA, and I must commend the association for the outstanding work it has been doing. What I have heard today clearly shows that EPWA is not just an association in name but a group genuinely committed to improving lives and developing our communities,” he said.
The royal father praised the association’s investments in education, healthcare, scholarships, mentorship programmes, women’s empowerment, and humanitarian support, noting that such initiatives have positively touched many lives across Epe Division.
He particularly lauded the association for supporting girl-child education, assisting widows and vulnerable women, empowering entrepreneurs, and providing opportunities for young people to achieve their dreams.
Oba Ogunsanwo described EPWA as a valuable partner in community development, adding that the association’s efforts complement those of government and traditional institutions in promoting social and economic progress.
He urged the members not to relent in their humanitarian efforts and encouraged them to continue expanding their programmes so that more people could benefit from their interventions.
The monarch further praised the unity, dedication, and commitment of the members, noting that sustaining such an impactful organization for over a decade was a remarkable achievement.
