The Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye, has been honoured with a national award by Bravins Magazine International in recognition of his outstanding performance in grassroots governance.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Akinloye emerged as the Best Performing Local Government Chairman in Nigeria in the categories of Infrastructure Development and Workers’ Welfare/Human Development, an achievement that underscores his administration’s commitment to sustainable development and improved service delivery.

The prestigious award was presented during a ceremony organised by Bravins Magazine International, where the Executive Chairman was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Adegbenro Hamzat Adebowale, who received the award on his behalf.
The organisers acknowledged Akinloye’s remarkable contributions to infrastructural development, workers’ welfare and human capital advancement, describing his administration as one that has consistently delivered impactful projects and people-oriented programmes capable of improving the quality of life of residents across Eredo LCDA.

The Council Chairman also thanked the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, party leaders, traditional rulers, religious leaders, management staff, and residents of Eredo LCDA for their unwavering support and cooperation since the inception of his administration.
He dedicated the award to the people of Eredo LCDA, noting that their trust and encouragement have remained the driving force behind the successes recorded by his administration.
“I dedicate this award to the resilient people of Eredo LCDA. This recognition belongs to every resident who has continued to support our vision for a more developed, prosperous and united council area,” Akinloye stated.
The Chairman reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining the pace of infrastructural development, prioritising workers’ welfare and implementing more people-centred policies that will further enhance socio-economic development across the council.
