Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has been recognized as ‘Man of the Year 2024’ by The Sun Newspaper, acknowledging his outstanding performance in governance and significant achievements in infrastructure and transformational development within a short period of his administration.

This accolade reflects Governor Soludo’s numerous accomplishments and progressive leadership, which have elevated Anambra State to new heights.
Nicknamed ‘Mr. Fixer,’ ‘Mr. Reformer,’ and ‘Mr. Jinx Breaker,’ Soludo’s solution-oriented governance has impressed critics, with development projects demonstrating his genuine dedication to making Anambra a prosperous and attractive destination.
In a statement released by Christian Aburime, the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the Editor-in-Chief of Daily Sun Newspapers, Mr. Onuoha Ukeh, accompanied by other editors, visited Governor Soludo in Awka on Friday to present the award letter.
This recognition follows a rigorous selection process conducted by the management of the organization over several weeks.
Governor Soludo was commended for his wide-ranging achievements, including infrastructure projects across the 21 Local Government Areas, investments in human capital development, healthcare, education, youth empowerment, skills acquisition, and seed capital programs.
