Shortly after the exercise, the chairman embarked on a tour of the remaining five wards within the LCDA to monitor the registration process firsthand.
During his interactions with party faithful and residents, he urged widespread participation, encouraging eligible individuals to take advantage of the exercise and align themselves with the ruling party, noting that active membership remains key to political inclusion and opportunity.
Ahead of the commencement of the exercise, the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA administration had rolled out strong logistical backing to ensure a smooth process.
Represented by the Vice Chairman, Alhaji Wasiu Dehinsilu, the council provided generators to all six wards, supported registration officers with necessary materials, and created a conducive environment through the supply of tents, chairs, and other essentials.
Public awareness was also boosted through targeted radio announcements and sustained engagement on social media platforms.
At the Ward G1 Registration Centre in Orugbo, the APC Local Government Chairman, Hon. Wittu Ajenifuja, applauded the Executive Chairman for his consistent support, describing the intervention as critical to the success of the revalidation exercise.
He also praised Akogun Anomo for his dedication to the ideals of the party and his continued support for the leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The APC membership revalidation exercise remains ongoing across all wards in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, as party leaders continue to mobilise residents toward strengthening the party’s base and deepening grassroots participation.
