The Yobe State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Muhammad Gadaka, has said the party will remain in power in Nigeria for the next 100 years.
Gadaka made the remark during the 2026 Yobe Leadership and Innovation Summit held in Damaturu, where he expressed confidence in the party’s long term political dominance.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the summit, organised by the Centre for Leadership and Good Governance, brought together stakeholders to discuss governance and development issues.
Represented by the State Party Youth Leader, Muhammad Musa Gulani, Gadaka said the APC’s policies and programmes have positioned it to shape Nigeria’s political future for decades.
He stated that the party remains focused on sustaining governance at all levels, including federal, state, and local governments.
“The vision of our party is to improve the lives of Nigerians and make Nigeria a great country. This party will continue to form governments at the federal, state, and local levels for more than 100 years,” he said.
Gadaka added that achieving meaningful national development requires continuity and sustained leadership over time.
He disclosed that the party is currently reviewing its performance and refining its strategies to ensure measurable impact across key sectors.
“Our party is reviewing its progress and strengthening its strategic direction to align its messaging with measurable impact,” he added.
He also urged Nigerians to remain confident in the APC led government, assuring that ongoing efforts would deliver positive economic outcomes.

“The APC will continue to build a Nigeria that works for all, strong, united, and full of hope. We call on Nigerians to have confidence in the APC government; the economy of this country will eventually work for all citizens,” he said.
