Top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Epe Division have called on residents to show support for the party’s candidates in the upcoming July 12 Local Government elections.

Alhaji Shakirudeen Akanni Seriki, popularly known as Bamu, a revered political strategist and the APC Apex Leader in Epe Division, emphasized the need for unity and grassroots mobilization.
“This election is not just about local governance; it is a signal to Abuja that Epe stands firmly with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu,” he said.
Hon. Wale Raji, Member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Epe Federal Constituency, stated, “We are proud of our chairmen.
They’ve done well, especially in infrastructure, education, and welfare. They deserve another term. Let’s vote and let our voices be heard again.”
In his remarks, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, representing Epe Constituency I in the Lagos State House of Assembly, encouraged voters to use the election as a platform to strengthen democracy.
“Epe is peaceful and progressive. Let us continue on that path by voting APC en masse,” he said.
All the leaders expressed their full confidence in the sitting council chairmen, Princess Surah Olayemi Animashaun (Epe LG), Hon. Monsuru Akinloye (Eredo LCDA), and Hon. Wale Anomo (Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA), affirming that they have delivered commendable performance in their first term.

They reassured the people that with a renewed mandate, the chairmen will do even more in terms of development, inclusion, and service delivery.
The APC leadership emphasized that although the party remains dominant in Epe Division, it is vital to come out in large numbers to reaffirm this support at the ballot box, especially as the 2027 general elections draw near.
