The leadership structure of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has been further strengthened with the unanimous selection of Mr. Uzezi Imire Lucky, Ward Chairman of Ward G1 (Orugbo-Iddo), as the new Chairman of the APC Ward Chairmen’s Forum.

Eko Hot Blog reports that his emergence was formally announced during a courtesy visit by Ward Chairmen to the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Wale Raji Anomo, at the Council Secretariat in Agbowa.
Congratulating the newly selected Forum Chairman and other ward leaders, Hon. Anomo charged them to remain committed to the core values and ideals of the APC, emphasizing unity and effective leadership at the grassroots.
“I congratulate you all on this development and urge you to remain steadfast in your commitment to the party. Your roles are critical to sustaining the strength and growth of the APC at the grassroots,” he said.
The Council Chairman further tasked the ward leaders with discharging their duties with diligence, fairness, and a shared vision for progress, noting that unity remains key to achieving political success.
“You must work together with unity of purpose, ensuring that the party continues to thrive across all wards. Leadership at this level requires dedication, inclusiveness, and loyalty to the party’s vision,” he added.
Highlighting the importance of early mobilization ahead of future elections, Hon. Anomo reiterated the collective responsibility of party members toward securing electoral victories, including the re-election bid of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“The task ahead is significant, and we must begin preparations now. The re-election of our President remains a collective priority, and Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA is committed to delivering 50,000 votes,” he stated.
In his response, the newly selected Forum Chairman expressed appreciation for the confidence reposed in him by his colleagues and pledged to justify the trust placed in his leadership.
“I am deeply honored by this unanimous selection, and I assure you all that I will work tirelessly with every Ward Chairman to strengthen our structure and deliver on our collective goals,” he said.
Other Ward Chairmen present at the meeting included Alausa Wasiu Omoboriowo (Ward E1), Adebayo Lateef Adewale (Ward E2), Akinsanya Abiodun (Ward F1), Rasheed Sanni (Ward Q1), and Jayesimi Ibraheem (Ward R1).
The meeting underscored a renewed sense of unity and shared commitment among party leaders, as they collectively resolved to deepen grassroots mobilization and reinforce the APC’s dominance in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA.
