President Bola Tinubu has renewed the appointment of Abdulhamid Salihu Dembos as the Director General of the National Television Authority.
The President also renewed the appointment of the Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Ali Mohammed Ali.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that both appointments were renewed for another three year term, according to a statement released by the Presidency on Sunday.
The second terms of the two chief executives will begin on October 20, 2026.
Who Is Salihu Dembos?
Salihu Dembos, from Yola, Adamawa State, is a former National President of the Radio, Television, Theatre and Art Workers Union.
He previously served as Executive Director of Marketing at the NTA after his retirement in 2017.
Dembos joined the NTA as an announcer at its Kaduna station after completing his National Youth Service in 1989.
He rose through the ranks and served as General Manager at NTA Lokoja and NTA Kano at different times.
He retired in 2017 as the Acting Zonal Director of the NTA Kaduna Network Centre.
Ali Mohammed Ali’s Profile
Ali Mohammed Ali is a veteran journalist and media manager with more than 30 years of experience in the media industry.
He has a strong interest in media evolution and content development in the digital era, particularly in meeting the needs of a diverse population through alternative news platforms.
Ali holds a first degree in English from Bayero University, Kano.
He also obtained a graduate degree in International Affairs from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communications from Bayero University, Kano.
The President urged the two chief executives to justify the confidence placed in them by continuing to demonstrate commitment to the mandates of their organisations.
Tinubu also charged them to support the promotion of the government’s Renewed Hope Agenda during their second terms.
