Karibi-George, a 26-year-old indigene of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, successfully inherited the crown from the outgoing 2025 queen, Joy Mojisola Raimi.
Raimi previously made the nation proud by finishing in the Top 20 globally and securing a spot among the Top 5 African delegates at the 72nd international showcase in Hyderabad, India.

The official coronation was celebrated publicly by the founder of the Silverbird Group and former lawmaker, Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, who commended the new queen’s intellect and poise on social media.
The national pageant, curated by the Silverbird Group, remains the definitive gateway for selecting Nigeria’s official representative for the global Miss World stage.
In line with the international body’s fundamental “Beauty with a Purpose” ethos, contestants are heavily evaluated on their commitment to tangible humanitarian projects and community development initiatives.
Beyond the glamour of the runway, Karibi-George has distinguished herself as a dedicated advocate for vulnerable demographics through her signature foundation, the Beyond Labels initiative.
Her charitable platform focuses on driving social inclusion, personal dignity, and empowerment for children living with special needs, creating accessible environments where they can thrive despite their physical limitations.
With the national crown secured, the newly minted queen will now transition into rigorous preparations ahead of the 73rd Miss World Festival, scheduled to take place in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from August 9 to September 5, 2026.
