The FCT Police Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, confirmed that Ilebaye (27) and her brothers, Godson (14) and Devin (10), sustained injuries alongside their father, Emmanuel, during the physical altercation.
According to the police statement, officers responded to a distress call from the Royal Anchor Estate in Wuye at approximately midnight.
After struggling to gain access to the compound for over two hours, the Area Commander Metro, ACP Ufomadu Georglyn, led the rescue.
Ilebaye was initially treated at NNPC Hospital before being moved to Yabisam Hospital.
The police have clarified that while the father is receiving treatment, he is technically in custody, and formal questioning will begin as soon as all parties are medically stable.
The incident has sparked a firestorm of reactions within the entertainment industry.

Former housemate Beauty Tukura assured fans that Ilebaye was “no longer in harm’s way,” while Venita Akpofure condemned the violence, noting the deep psychological trauma such incidents cause, especially on a daughter’s birthday.
However, the situation has also seen conflicting reports; reality star Phyna criticized the Nigerian police on X, claiming the father had been released prematurely.
As the public awaits an official statement from Ilebaye, fans remain divided between those demanding swift justice and others calling for a full investigation into the root cause of the confrontation.
