BREAKING: Former Immigration Boss, David Parradang Killed by Kidnappers in Abuja

- Former NIS Comptroller-General David Shikfu Parradang was reportedly killed by suspected kidnappers in Abuja’s Area 1.
- The attackers followed him from a bank, seized his cash, and then took his life.
- A decorated public servant with over 30 years of service, his death is under investigation.
Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have reportedly killed former Nigerian Immigration Service Comptroller-General David Shikfu Parradang.
According to counter-insurgency specialist Zagazola Makama, the incident occurred in the Area 1 region of Abuja early Tuesday.
Makama revealed that after being followed from a bank where he had withdrawn cash, Parradang was intercepted by the attackers, who seized his money before ultimately taking his life.

The tragic incident has intensified concerns over security in the Federal Capital Territory, with Makama noting a rise in kidnappings and targeted attacks. Parradang devoted over 30 years to public service, serving in various capacities across Kano, Lagos, Kwara, Enugu, and Abuja.
His distinguished career earned him the national honor of Officer of the Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) and recognition as a distinguished graduate of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS).
Security agencies have launched an investigation into the events surrounding his abduction and death, and efforts are underway to apprehend those responsible.
