He was a highly respected politician, leader, and dedicated public servant, whose legacy of service and commitment to his constituents will be deeply missed.
According to a close family member, the loss of Prince Asafa has sent shockwaves through the community, as friends, colleagues, and the people he served come to terms with the news.
In the wake of this tragic loss, tributes and condolences have started pouring in from well-wishers, community leaders, and government officials who had the privilege of working alongside Prince Asafa.
In addition to Asafa’s passing, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, and the Oto-Awori LCDA Vice Chairman, Hon. Azeez Abiodun Kareem, both lost their loved ones on the same day earlier in the year.
