After months of total blackout, the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) is set to restore electricity to Epe Local Government Area. According to reports, transformers with 33 KVA capacity will receive power shortly, while those with 11 KVA capacity are expected to be reconnected by tomorrow.
Ekohotblog reports that this phased restoration comes as a major relief to residents and businesses that have endured prolonged power outages, significantly affecting daily life and economic activities in the area.

Confirming the development, a PHCN official stated, “We are pleased to announce that power will be restored in phases to ensure stability across the network. Transformers with 33 KVA capacity will be energized shortly, while those with 11 KVA will receive power tomorrow. We appreciate the patience and cooperation of the community.”
Local leaders have also welcomed the news. Hon. Abiodun Tobun, Chairman of the House Committee on Commerce, Cooperative, and Industry, expressed his satisfaction, saying, “This is a positive step towards restoring normalcy in Epe. We have been working tirelessly with relevant stakeholders, and we are glad that PHCN has finally responded to the needs of our people.”
