- Skitmaker Carter Efe has rejected the possibility of an immediate rematch with Habeeb ‘Portable’ Badmus after his victory on Friday night at the Balmoral Hall in Lagos.
- Following the win, Efe received a ₦50 million reward from businessman Emeka ‘E-Money’ Okonkwo, fulfilling a pre-fight pledge.
- Portable has labeled the result “unjust,” claiming Efe used his height advantage unprofessionally and demanding streaming revenue from the event.
- In the main event, Godday Appah defeated Ezra Arenyeka to become the new WBO Africa cruiserweight champion, while Basit Adebayo also secured a WBO Africa title.
Following the final bell at the Chaos in the Ring 4 event, Carter Efe brushed aside Portable’s complaints, stating he is currently focused on resting rather than a rematch.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Efe humorously corrected comparisons to professional boxers by referring to himself as “Carter Mayweather” during his post-match celebration.
