Chairman Eredo LCDA Celebrates 100 Days In Office
- Chairman Eredo LCDA commissions 500kva transformer
- Reels out the scorecard for 100 days in the office
- Donate vehicles and employs 50 NCE teachers
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Executive Chairman of Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Epe, Hon. Ismail Monsuru Akinloye has celebrated his 100 days in office commissioning a brand new 500kva transformer and providing job employment to the youths in the community.

Delivering the opening remarks, the Council-Manager, Oluwatoyin Senaike, said we are here today to present to you our scorecard in the last 100 days.
“We have hit the ground running not allowing challenges to deter us from carrying out the things we promised to do.
“We have asked you to come and assess our performance thus far and let us know if we have performed satisfactorily.
The CM, said even though our LCDA is not a very buoyant one yet we have embarked on a lot of projects within the short time spent in the office. Some of the projects are complete and awaiting commissioning others will be completed and commissioned in due course of time.
Once again we welcome you all to Eredo LCDA.
The ceremony was attended by politicians and traditional rulers in Epe, who came to give their support and backing to the Chairman and also offer words of encouragement to him and his team.
Among the traditional rulers who graced the occasion are the Alara of Ilara Kingdom, H.R.M. Oba (Dr) Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo, the Alade Shoyin of Odo-Noforija Kingdom, H.R.M. Oba Babatunde Ogunlana (JP), the Alade Uraka of Poka land, H.R.M. Oba Ayodele Aileru and many chiefs from the different kingdoms.
Hon. Ismail Akinloye, while delivering his speech thanked all the party leaders, traditional rulers and spiritual leaders for finding time out of their busy schedule to grace the occasion.
He said we were elected into office on July 27 2021 and after 100 days I have come to give an account of our activities thus far.
“We have provided an ambulance for the local community health center while also ensuring that the facility is properly stocked with drugs for the patients. To complement the effort of the state government in the area of education, have employed 50 teachers into the primary schools within the community.
Furthermore, because we know that security of lives and property is the duty of the government we have empowered our local security operatives known as ‘MUWON’ with two motorcycles and we have also ensured that their patrol vehicle is up and running.
Not stopping there, we have given the Police a patrol vehicle as well to aid them in doing the job effectively well.
We have provided jobs in the council for 101 youths in the community, we are giving out cash empowerment N50,000 to businessmen and women, supporting 50 aged with N10,000 each and 50 widows also with N10,000.
We have purchased and energised a 500kva transformer that will be commissioned today and we are currently building a state if the art legislative complex, all of these within our 100 days of being in office.
The Alara of Ilara Kingdom, Oba Olukayode Ogunsanwo, encouraged the Chairman and his team to keep up the good work, he said we put him there because we trust In capability to deliver and he is not disappointing us.
The Oba said the reward for hard work is more work, so don’t be tired.
Speaking on behalf of Ikeja Electric, Olufadeke Omomorodion, said getting the transformer for the community and energizing it, was a dream come true and we are happy that the community now has reliable power supply source.
The event came to an end with lots of felicitations from the indigenes who had enough to eat and drink.
