The battle for the final seven places in the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League league phase will begin next week, with 14 clubs set to compete across seven two legged play off ties.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the seven winners will join the 29 clubs that have already qualified directly for the 36 team league phase, while the seven losing teams will drop into the UEFA Europa League league phase.
The first legs of the play offs are scheduled for August 18 and 19, with the return fixtures set to take place on August 25 and 26.
The seven UEFA Champions League play off fixtures are Fenerbahçe vs Lyon, Celtic vs LASK, N.E.C. vs Bodø/Glimt, AEK Athens vs Levski Sofia, GNK Dinamo vs Viking, Slovan Bratislava vs Celje, and Hapoel Beer-Sheva vs Sabah.
The fixtures will determine the final seven clubs to complete the 36 team Champions League league phase ahead of the 2026/27 season.
The seven play off fixtures are:
