The Super Falcons have moved closer to a full squad ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, with only six invited players yet to arrive at the team’s training camp in Casablanca, Morocco.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation, Eko Hot Blog gathered that 19 of the 25 invited players had reported to camp by Sunday as preparations intensified for Nigeria’s opening Group B fixture against Malawi on July 28.

Head coach Justine Madugu supervised a training session at the La Noria Club, where 15 players participated in drills as the team stepped up preparations for the continental tournament.
The camp received an additional boost with the arrival of BK Häcken teammates Halimatu Ayinde and Joy Omewa. Meanwhile, Pachuca Tuzas defender Osinachi Ohale and striker Chinwendu Ihezuo were expected to join the squad shortly.
Among those already in camp are captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, defenders Shukurat Oladipo, Rofiat Imuran, Glory Ogbonna, Oluwatosin Demehin and Sikiratu Isah, along with midfielders Toni Payne, Jennifer Echegini and Christy Ucheibe.
The attacking line also includes experienced stars Asisat Oshoala, Francisca Ordega and Omorinsola Babajide, while goalkeepers Comfort Erhabor and Fatima Oloko have also linked up with the team.
The remaining players expected to complete the squad are Michelle Alozie, Deborah Abiodun, Gift Monday, Esther Okoronkwo, Folashade Ijamilusi and Uchenna Kanu.
With most of the squad now in camp, the nine-time African champions have intensified preparations as they aim to begin their WAFCON title defence with a winning start against Malawi before facing the other teams in Group B.
