Nollywood actor Charles Okocha has denied allegations by controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, that he bit him during their recent celebrity boxing rematch in Lagos.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the highly publicised bout took place last Friday at the Balmoral Convention Centre, where Okocha was declared the winner after Portable was disqualified for violating the rules of the contest.

Portable had claimed after the fight that Okocha bit him on the back and held him by the neck during the match, insisting the contest was unfair.
However, speaking during an appearance on TVC Entertainment, Okocha dismissed the allegations, describing them as false and illogical.
According to the actor, he wore a protective mouth guard throughout the fight, making it impossible for him to bite his opponent.
“Portable has been going around telling people I bit him on the back. I was wearing a mouth guard; how is that even possible? He was just lying,” Okocha said.
The actor also joked that he had no reason to bite the singer.
“I would rather chew grass than bite him. I don’t want to catch rabies. Have you seen how Portable’s skin looks? Hell no, I wouldn’t do that. He should just accept defeat,” he added.
The latest clash is another chapter in the rivalry between the two entertainers.
In 2023, Portable defeated Okocha in a celebrity boxing match held at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos, and walked away with the championship belt.
Portable also recently suffered another defeat in a celebrity boxing contest against skit maker Carter Efe. Following that loss, the singer alleged foul play, claiming Carter Efe used his long arms to hold him by the neck during the fight.
He also demanded ₦200 million in compensation from the organisers, arguing that he fought despite his wife being in labour at the time.
The latest exchange between Okocha and Portable has since generated reactions on social media, with fans debating the outcome of the boxing rematch and the actor’s response to the biting allegation.
