EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to a report by FIJ, the Federal High Court in Lagos State has rendered a conviction against Dr. Anuoluwapo Adepoju, a medical doctor and the founder of MedContour Services Ltd.
The conviction stems from a failed plastic surgery performed by Dr. Adepoju in 2020, which tragically resulted in the death of Nneka Onwuzuligbo.

Former Director-General of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, Babatunde Irukera, took to Twitter on Friday to disclose this development.
In his tweet under the handle #TundeIrukera, he expressed pride in personally prosecuting Dr. Anu Adepoju and her medical practice.
Despite his departure from the commission, the case culminated in a conviction, reinforcing the accountability framework applicable to all members of society, whether professionals or otherwise.
This outcome reflects the ideal functioning and evolution of society.
“Dr. Anu Adepoju and her medical practice convicted in all 5 counts charged by FCCPC. The wheel of justice may grind slowly, but we must see it through. What we need are enforced with audacity and the will to prosecute competently and diligently. Good day for consumers of professional services.”
