Coronavirus: LASG Deploys Disinfection, Sanitation Equipment To 57 LG/LCDAs
The fight against the spread of the COVID-19 across the State recently received a boost when the Lagos State government deployed equipment to all the 57 LG/LCDAs for sanitation and disinfection of public spaces and surfaces.
The Commissioner for Local Government and Community Affairs, Dr. Wale Ahmed, who spoke during the deployment of the equipment, urged the leadership to complement the efforts of the State Government in making the entire metropolis safe.
He called on Conference 57, comprising all the Local Council Chairmen, to sustain the sanitation exercise, reminding them of the need to take up the responsibility of ensuring a safe and healthy environment.
