COVID-19: NCDC Reports 39 New Cases, No Death
- Total cases confirmed – 165,301
- Total cases discharged – 155,424
- Total deaths recorded – 2,065
The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 165,301 COVID-19 cases.
In its latest case update dated May 7, the NCDC reports 39 new cases with no COVID-related fatality.

The new infections were recorded in 8 states — Lagos-23, FCT-4, Kano-4, Zamfara-4, Akwa Ibom-1, Gombe-1, Nasarawa-1 and Plateau-1.
Eko Hot Blog gathers that out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 155,424 cases have been discharged while the death toll still stands at 2,065.
