Delta state overtakes Lagos with 166 COVID-19 cases recorded on Wednesday as Nigeria also recorded its highest daily rate of 790 cases.
The oil-rich state seized control of the daily leaderboard, from the usual leader Lagos, which recorded 120 cases.

Meanwhile, Ekohotblog reports that the development means that Nigeria’s total confirmed cases of coronavirus have risen to twenty-six thousand, four hundred and eighty-four (26,484) with ten thousand, one hundred and fifty-two (10,152) people discharged and six hundred and three (603) deaths recorded so far.
