Davido Gifts SUV to Timi of Ede on 70th Birthday

Nigerian music superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has gifted a brand-new GAC GS8 SUV to the Timi of Ede, Oba Munirudeen Adesola Lawal, in celebration of the monarch’s 70th birthday.
The luxury vehicle was presented on behalf of Davido by Alhaji Kazeem Akinleye, the Chief of Staff to Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke.

The handover took place shortly after an interfaith prayer session held in honor of the monarch’s milestone celebration.
Davido, who hails from Ede, has long expressed his deep respect for the traditional ruler. His generous gift is seen as a token of appreciation for Oba Lawal’s leadership and contributions to the community.
The birthday celebrations are part of a grand five-day event honoring the Timi of Edeland. As part of the festivities, notable sons and daughters of Ede will be conferred with chieftaincy titles in recognition of their roles in the town’s development.
Davido, known for his philanthropy, has consistently given back to his roots through various acts of generosity. This latest gesture further solidifies his strong ties to Ede and his commitment to supporting its leaders and people.
