Chioma Adeleke, wife of Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido, has reportedly dismissed her manager, Ubi Franklin, over allegations of unpaid debts running into millions.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Nigerian journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus disclosed via Instagram on Monday that Chioma was displeased with the constant social media allegations against Franklin regarding unpaid debts, which she found embarrassing.
“Insiders allege that Chioma relieved him of his duties due to the ongoing controversy,” Korkus wrote, adding that Davido, Chioma, and the 30BG crew also ignored Franklin’s birthday on Sunday, a stark contrast to previous years.

The controversy follows recent claims by singer Spyro, who accused Franklin of using Davido’s name to lure him into performing at a show without proper payment. Spyro alleged that Franklin failed to pay the agreed $5,000 fee, leading to a heated exchange.
In response, Franklin defended his actions, stating that Spyro owed him a 10% commission from a car purchase he facilitated.
