The family of Nollywood actress and movie producer, Allwell Ademola, has expressed deep sorrow over her death, clarifying that she was 49 years old at the time of her passing.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the clarification followed earlier reports within the entertainment industry which stated that the actress died at the age of 43 after reportedly suffering a heart attack at her residence before being taken to the hospital.
In an official statement released on Sunday and signed by Adeboyega Adebayo on behalf of the Ademola family, it was confirmed that the actress died on Saturday, December 27, 2025.
The family described the late actress as a proud daughter of the Ademola family of Ogun State and a great granddaughter of the Alake of Egbaland. They noted that she was deeply committed to the creative arts and remained passionate about storytelling throughout her life.
According to the family, Allwell Ademola distinguished herself as a thespian, actor, singer and filmmaker from childhood until her passing, leaving a lasting impact on colleagues and audiences within the Nigerian film industry.
Since the announcement of her death, tributes have continued to pour in from fellow actors, producers and fans who celebrated her talent and contributions to Nollywood.
The family expressed appreciation for the overwhelming support, prayers and messages of condolence received from colleagues, friends and well wishers across the country and beyond.
They added that details of her burial arrangements would be announced at a later date.
The statement read in part that the family received the loss with heavy hearts and total submission to the will of God, while thanking everyone who has shown love during the difficult period.
