EKO HOT BLOG reports that Galadima was a prominent figure in Nigerian sports administration, having led the NFA before its restructuring into the Nigeria Football Federation. His leadership period was widely regarded as influential in shaping the country’s football governance structure.
He also served as Chairman of the Kano State Sports Council between 1981 and 1983, marking the beginning of his long career in sports administration.
Born in 1951 in Fagge, Galadima held several key positions at both state and national levels. He was a member of the National Sports Commission and was elected Vice President of the Nigeria Olympic Committee in 1985, a role he held until 1987.
He was later reappointed as Chairman of the Kano State Sports Council, where he continued to contribute to sports development initiatives.
