EKO HOT BLOG reports that Barcelona head coach, Xavi Hernández, has announced a 22-man squad to face arch-rivals Real Madrid in Sunday’s highly anticipated LaLiga Clasico at Camp Nou. Xavi’s squad was released on Saturday via Barcelona’s official website ahead of the match.
Barcelona, who are currently sitting at the top of the La Liga table with nine points ahead of second-place Real Madrid, will be looking to extend their lead and maintain their unbeaten run in the league.

The Catalan club head to the game on the back of a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Athletic Club in their last La Liga outing, and the Blaugrana will be hoping to continue their impressive form against the reigning champions.
Xavi’s squad for the crunch encounter includes star players such as goalkeeper Ter Stegen, defenders Araujo and Sergio, midfielders Gavi and F. De Jong, and forwards Ansu Fati and Lewandowski. The squad also includes some of the club’s promising youngsters, such as Balde, Pablo Torre, and Arnau Tenas.
The highly anticipated fixture is expected to be a fiercely contested battle between the two Spanish giants, with both teams looking to secure bragging rights and gain an advantage in the title race.
