The Lagos State Environmental Taskforce has intensified its efforts to rid the state of criminal elements, conducting a recent raid in the Agidigbi and Ikeja GRA areas. The operation, which began around 1:30 AM on Wednesday, August 20, targeted several key locations, including Alausa CBD, NERDC Road, and the streets around Ikeja GRA.

According to a post on X by the Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources,Tokunbo Wahab, the task force arrested a total of 32 suspects—25 males and 7 females. During the raid, officers found the individuals in possession of illicit substances such as Indian hemp, codeine, and other narcotics, Eko Hot Blog reports.
The operation successfully restored order in all the areas visited. The commissioner stated that authorities will charge all the arrested suspects in court.
