Progress continues to define the landscape of Epe under the visionary leadership of Hon. (Princess) Surah O. Animashaun, FHTI, Executive Chairman of Epe Local Government.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the ongoing construction of Rahman Mistura Street has achieved another significant milestone with the completion of the concrete drainage systems on both sides of the road.
This marks a crucial step in ensuring durability, proper water management, and long-term road sustainability.
With this phase successfully completed, the project now moves into the grading and leveling stage, setting the foundation for the next phase of work that will eventually lead to full road surfacing.

Hon. Princess Surah Animashaun commended the contractors for their diligence and the residents for their patience and cooperation during the construction process.
She said, “This project is about more than just building roads, it is about building the future of Epe.”
She further reaffirmed her administration’s vision, noting, “Our commitment is to deliver infrastructure that improves accessibility, guarantees safety, and beautifies our environment.”
Residents of the area also expressed appreciation for the project. One community member shared, “This road will not only reduce flooding but also ease movement for everyone in the neighborhood.”
