Girls Guide Officials Pay Courtesy Visit To Hon. Olowa

- Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the Girls Guide movement in Ibeju-Lekki.

Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdullahiy Sesan Olowa, on Monday received officials of the Girls Guide organization in his office, reaffirming his administration’s commitment to fostering moral and leadership values among young girls in the community.
Ekohotblog reports that the delegation, led by the Lagos State Commissioner of the Girls Guide, Mrs. Carol Akingbesote, included the Divisional Commissioner for Ibeju-Lekki, Mrs. Ajayi Titilope, and the District Commissioner, Mrs. Omogboyegun Tolulope.

While addressing the team, Hon. Olowa commended the Girls Guide movement for its dedication to nurturing young girls with strong moral values, discipline, and leadership skills.
“I truly appreciate the impact of the Girls Guide organization in shaping the lives of young girls. They have been exemplary role models in various institutions, ensuring that students grow with the right mindset and values,” Hon. Olowa stated.
He further expressed his willingness to support the organization, emphasizing the need to revive the movement within Ibeju-Lekki.
“Ibeju-Lekki is a rapidly growing community, and the presence of Girls Guide will play a key role in mentoring our young girls. My administration will support any initiative that promotes discipline and moral upbringing,” he added.
In response, Mrs. Akingbesote thanked the Council Chairman for the warm reception and his commitment to youth development.
“We are grateful for your support and interest in the Girls Guide movement. We look forward to working closely with your administration to expand our presence in Ibeju-Lekki,” she said.

Mrs. Ajayi Titilope and Mrs. Omogboyegun Tolulope also echoed similar sentiments, pledging their commitment to ensuring that more young girls in the area benefit from the movement’s mentorship programs.
The Girls Guide organization, a globally recognized movement, has for decades provided girls and women with leadership training, confidence-building activities, and essential life skills to prepare them for future challenges.
