Epe Local Government, under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Hon. (Princess) Surah Olayemi Animashaun, FHTI, has announced a 3-day open football trial aimed at discovering and empowering talented footballers within the community.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the event, scheduled to hold from Monday, 27th to Friday, 31st October, 2025, at the Epe Recreational Center, will commence daily at 3:00 p.m.

According to the council boss, the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote youth development and sports excellence across Epe.
“We are committed to creating platforms where young people can express their talent and gain meaningful exposure,” she said.
The open trial will provide a golden opportunity for passionate and gifted footballers to showcase their skills before professional scouts and selectors.
Successful players will earn the honour of representing Epe at the prestigious APC Lagos State Chairman’s Cup.
“This is more than just a competition, it’s a chance to turn passion into purpose and dreams into reality. The next football star could emerge from Epe,” Hon. Animashaun added.
